CDP

DEFINITION

CDP stands for Customer Data Platform A CDP is a marketing system that unifies a company's customer data from multiple channels (ES: POS, Social, Web Site). A CDP platform integrates and synchronizes all the data of different customers in the various sources within the company. The difference between a CDP and a CRM system lies in the ability to unify and integrate data from all company channels. While a CRM system specializes in a single channel of customer acquisition, CDPs are powerful tools made available to marketing departments that can, in real time, monitor the user behavior in any area of the organization and customize the offer according to the specific customer.
